1. What are ThermoFibre’s products made from?

ThermoFibre’s products are derived from many different sustainable fibers such as ; eucalyptus, sugar cane, wheat, wood fiber, new corrugated clippings, bamboo. The fiber used depends on the application and location.

2. Are molded fiber food containers safe for food contact?

Yes, as long as they are made from virgin fiber. They can be used with food on them directly or with a food grade coating or laminate.

3. Is ThermoFibre’s pulp products recyclable?

ThermoFibre’s pulp products are recyclable, biodegradable and compostable. Once laminated, it is recyclable and compostable depending on the film used. Our patented eco-peel technology allows the laminated container to remain recyclable, biodegradable, and compostable.

4. Can a plastic package be replicated with a ThermoFibre molded pulp counterpart?

Most definitely. We specialize in assisting companies in converting their packaging to make their product more sustainable throughout their product line.

5. Can Samples be produced?

Yes, ThermoFibre can make samples in our pulp laboratory that are of production quality.

6. What is the lead time for a project?

The lead time is approximately 90 days which includes design, production and delivery.
